As a hands-on leader, Andrew has been applying his practical approach to innovating and scaling business models while improving effectiveness, consistency, and accuracy by combining his intimate knowledge of data science/AI, enterprise data, technology product design, and operations management. He has often found himself helping companies transition from ”growth” to “scale.”

- As Chief Information Security Officer, led the transformation of private companies' security functions, including technology, staffing, and risk management functions.
- As Chief Information Officer, led the restructuring of infrastructure, corporate technology, DevOps, and quality organizations. Building new team structures and introducing new internal technology products to improve reliability and scalability while reducing total cost.
- As Chief Data Officer, I led the transition from an “ad-hoc” data strategy to an “enterprise” data strategy by introducing well-defined reusable data products managed through a single data management platform, which improved the time to market for new business analytics.
- Held multiple board advisory positions on SaaS and Data companies.
Previously, Andrew was the Head of Technology for Lazard Financial Advisory, responsible for all aspects of M&A banking technology. Here, he led the migration of multiple CRM and deal management applications to SaaS and launched new banking capabilities, including AI/NLP-enabled Knowledge Management to improve collaboration, an internal “LinkedIn” to improve productivity, and Research aggregators to reduce 3rd party research costs.
Prior to Lazard, Andrew held multiple leadership positions at Citi and led multiple client-facing initiatives to improve customer experience, including the introduction of a new client onboarding function for capital markets, which resulted in a 25% improvement in account opening times, a 45% improvement in quality, and a 90% increase in throughput; and the transformation of the account services group for trade and treasury introducing the first global workflow and regulatory rules technology to over 40 countries and 800 people. Before Citi, Andrew served as the Global Program Manager at Credit Suisse for the Securities Reference Data program and ran the Securities, Clients and Accounts data integration program for Barclays following the acquisition of Lehman Brothers.
Throughout his career, Andrew has enjoyed operating at the intersection of business, data, and technology (from before data became cool). He has a solid track record of partnering with business leaders, understanding their goals, translating this into technology capabilities, and focusing on execution. Andrew has a master’s degree in business administration from NYU-Stern, a master’s degree in engineering from Cambridge University, England, and a master's in arts from Cambridge.
